President

Tenure:
Erik has spent 31+ years as a financial industry professional committed to providing the finest services possible to 401k employers and employees, as well as private clients.

Professional Background:
Erik became registered and began his career in investment securities and financial planning in 1980. 
In 1988 Erik co-founded a securities brokerage firm where his responsibilities included managing qualified retirement plans and private client account relationships.  In 1995, he founded and managed a Registered Investment Advisory firm to provide fee based investment management and comprehensive retirement plan services. 

Erik’s responsibilities as the president of Retirement Plan Solutions now include providing Investment Advisory services to 401k and other corporate retirement plans, Employee 401k education services designed to help plan sponsors promote the highest levels of plan participation, and Wealth Management services to private clients.

Personal:
Erik currently lives on a small lake in Dousman, WI, and is a proud father of Josh and Jeremy, a proud grandfather to Eden Grace. 

Erik is a person of strong faith who has been especially active in community and church activities, and integrates his spirituality into his everyday life.

Director of Retirement Plan Development

Tenure:
Keven celebrated his 30th year in the financial services industry in 2011, and has served as a Registered Representative, a Registered Principal, and an Investment Advisor Representative within the investment industry throughout the tenure of his career. 

Professional Background:
Keven spent his financial services career providing Wealth Management services to clients, as a Regional Sales Manager, and more recently as a Wealth Management Team Leader.  The Wealth Management services Keven provided, as well as the team of specialists Keven later had responsibility for, included the complete personal client Wealth Management services of portfolio management, estate planning, financial planning and private banking. 

His responsibilities now include working with RPS experts to help them provide highest quality Wealth Management to private clients.  Keven also assists with the corporate retirement plans we serve, with the goal of helping our experts meet the employer’s needs, the employee’s needs, and achieving and maintaining regulatory and fiduciary compliance.  

Personal:
Keven and his wife Linda have been happily married for 30 years, and they currently reside in Grafton.  Keven and Linda have one daughter, Amy, who is an elementary school teacher. 

Keven attended the University of North Dakota where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing.

Keven enjoys family time, golfing, hunting and fishing.  He also volunteers at Christ Church in Mequon where he is serving as the Council President.

Investment Advisor Representative

Tenure:
Ron celebrated his 6th year in the financial services industry in 2011, and has served as a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative within the investment industry. 

Professional Background:
Ron started his career in the manufacturing industry and quickly moved into management positions.  He has run 5 different facilities in capacities from plant manager to plant general manager.  This experience currently helps him understand the challenges of day to day operations and the benefit s that experts can bring to assure governmental compliance.

His responsibilities now include working with RPS experts to continue to provide highest quality Wealth Management services to private clients, and our corporate retirement plan clients.  Ron specializes in providing financial planning to private clients and plan participants in order to help them better understand how to pursue their financial goals.  

Personal:
Ron and his wife Pennie have been happily married for 21 years and currently reside in the Waukesha area.  Ron and Pennie have four children and six grand children all residing in Wisconsin

Ron attended the University of Wisconsin – Platteville where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology.

Ron enjoys time with his family, hunting, fishing and camping at his property in Iola, WI.   He also enjoys volunteer work through Christ the Servant church in Waukesha as well as other activities that serve those with needs.

Investment Advisor Representative

Tenure:
We are especially pleased that Mark became a member of the Retirement Plan Solutions team in 2011.

Professional Background:
Mark spent the first twenty-five years of his working career in commercial banking.  While in commercial banking, Mark was involved in management of various areas, including consumer, commercial, and real estate lending, as well as branch banking operations.

Mark’s next twenty years were invested as an owner of a contract precision machining company in Wisconsin.  Mark’s focus and range of responsibilities included business development, maintenance and sales, primary responsibility for the administration of all employee benefits, and overall management of the staff and the company.

It was in this capacity as the sponsor of two defined benefit pension plans and one 401(k) plan that Mark met the Retirement Plan Solutions team, and became thoroughly familiar with the services we provide.   Mark joined the RPS Team with hope that his experiences as an employer sponsoring multiple corporate retirement plans will be beneficial in helping other employers and plan fiduciaries better understand the fiduciary standard to which they are held accountable under Federal law.  

Personal:
Mark and his wife Bonnie reside in Racine, Wisconsin, and have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren living in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Bonnie and Mark enjoy spoiling their grandchildren and spending as much time as possible at their cottage on Lake DuBay in Northern Wisconsin.

Qualified Plan Consultant

Tenure:
Steve has been in the financial services industry since 1970, and has specialized in Qualified Group Retirement Plans (e.g., 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, pension plans etc.) since 1978 while working with a number of well-respected organizations.

Professional Background:
Steve's experience includes working as a leader and member of retirement plan service and sales team.  He has a background in plan sales, implementation and administration.  In addition, Steve has provided plan design assistance to employers and centers of influence.  A particular area that Steve enjoys is helping educate plan participants about their programs and investment principals.

His responsibilities now include working with RPS experts to continue to provide professional services to ensure we continue to meet the employer’s needs and the employees' needs with the corporate retirement plans we serve.  

Personal:
Steve and his wife Pat have been married for 44 years, and they currently reside in Grafton.  Steve and Pat have two daughters, Kathy and Jennifer, as well as four grandchildren. 

Steve attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.

Steve enjoys family time, reading and volunteering.   He is also a trustee at his Parish in Grafton.

Managing Director - VP Operations

Tenure:
Carol is an energetic, focused and integrity-driven business executive who has spent 24+ years as a financial service professional working in the areas of wealth management and accounting.

Professional Background:
Carol started her career as a Staff Accountant at a full-service accounting firm where she took an interest in technology and became the system administrator for the internal network. Her skills and passion for software development and implementation led her to a System Analyst position for a company that wrote and sold their proprietary accounting software. In testing new waters, Carol moved to the wealth management arena where she spent 17 years as the Vice President of a boutique wealth management firm specializing in asset management, tax minimization strategies and asset protection planning.  Carol’s role focused on driving the business and wearing many hats: business management, case management, business development, human resources and accounting.

Carol’s responsibilities as the Managing Director of Retirement Plan Solutions include project management, marketing, client service and internal operations. Carol will support the team in delivering unparalleled services to corporate retirement plan and private clients.

Personal:
Carol and her husband Steve currently live in Germantown, Wisconsin; they are the proud parents of Austin and Ellie. 

Carol is active in community and church activities and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Mequon-Thiensville Chamber of Commerce.

LPL Registered Client Services Associate

Jenny’s career began in 1994 in a support capacity, and later as a personal assistant to Erik in his former Investment Advisory and securities brokerage firms.  Her responsibilities expanded significantly over time to include client communications and support, client documentation and reporting, vendor management, and office organization.  As the especially proud mother of 3 young children, Jenny’s role within Retirement Plan Solutions today is generally limited to internal financial operations, and occasional client reporting or other special projects.

Jenny’s credentials include:

Director of Operations

Pam’s financial services career began in 1987, and included office management, client documentation, and extensive personal client services.  Her primary responsibilities within Retirement Plan Solutions include office management and organization, client documentation, client and office scheduling, presentation materials, employer and employee support, and firm project and work flow coordination.

Investment Advisor Representative

Josh’s career began as an intern during his tenure at the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2005, he joined us full time in January of 2008, and his role has expanded significantly since that time. His current responsibilities within Retirement Plan Solutions include investment research, assisting in portfolio construction, preparation of client presentation, employee enrollment and educational materials , electronic client communications, firm technology, financial planning client communications and software management, and providing personal assistance services to qualified plan employees.
